Life really gives you what you want. I was reading Lady tasting tea, and it had a mention of rootgram, a squareroot of histogram. Wanted to check whether there was an R package which could do that. Found it in a package called vcd which stands for visualizing categorical data. This package on CRAN has the following description :

_Visualization techniques, data sets, summary and inference procedures aimed particularly at categorical data. Special emphasis is given to highly extensible grid graphics. The package was inspired by the book “Visualizing Categorical Data” by Michael Friendly.

_What is this book about ? Book on Categorical data…Well, I got to read this book some day!!!!
